Shudder Web Ad

This was an assignment to create a web ad spec on an existing product. As a fan of horror films, I decided to go with Shudder. The bloody hand in the bowl of popcorn was the biggest challenge, as it was created with AI. Originally, the idea was to have a bloody hand come out of the bowl of popcorn, but as it turns out, AI still finds hands challenging.

As for the copy, I wanted to have a fun play on words with “blood”, since horror IS fun. The result copy feels fresh and playful. The font for the copy is reminiscent of The Exorcist title, which I love.
